Make your next-chapter plan useful

A simple way to turn the worksheet into a plan you can return to.

All Might Productions ·

Start with something specific enough to work on this week. A goal such as “make one call about a training opportunity” gives you a clear action and a way to know whether you took it. Write down what you already bring to the goal: a skill, some experience, a person who can help or time you can set aside. Then name one obstacle. The point is to see what you need, not to judge where you are starting. Choose three small actions. Put a time beside each one and decide when you will look back at the plan. If another person’s help is needed, include asking for that help as an action. When you review the week, record what moved forward, what you learned and what needs to change. Adjusting a plan is part of using it. You can type into the worksheet on this site and print it or save a PDF through your browser. Your answers are not submitted to the production team. Save a copy before leaving the page.
